This is an easy 3-day weekend road trip from Delhi to the hills of Himachal. You drive up via Murthal and Pinjore Gardens, reaching Shimla by afternoon to enjoy an evening walk along Mall Road and The Ridge. Day two is spent exploring Kufri for open mountain views and visiting Jakhu Temple with its giant Hanuman statue. On the final day, you visit Christ Church and the historic Viceregal Lodge before driving back to Delhi. - En Route Sightseeing:
- Stop at Pinjore Gardens (Yadavindra Gardens) near Kalka to walk through the historic 17th-century Mughal-style terraced lawns and water fountains.
- Pause at Timber Trail, Parwanoo for panoramic mountain views or an optional cable car ride over the Shivalik hill valleys.
